overshopping (well, anything that gives me an excuse to shop is ok in my
book) I made some new purchases. I haven't taken any pictures but I
figured I'd update anyway for the sake of updation stations. The
opportunity to shop (if even window shop) on a Friday night is so
extremely rare (given my waitressing job) that if I stumble upon some
rare find I feel the need to scoop it up immediately, especially if I
find something like an adorable (if slightly out-of-season) trenchcoat
on sale for THIRTY-FIVE DOLLARS at Old Navy. You've got to be kidding
me. I've wanted a simple traditional trench for years but the ones I
previously lusted after were from Bebe, and although they were cute, the
color scheme they released would have made coordinating with the rest of
my ensemble a bit of a struggle. So...I decided to get this one for
now, and if I ever feel the need to buy another in hot pink or some
other insane shade, at least I'll have this one to fall back on. Gotta
start with the basics, you know.
I also scored a cute pink- & white-striped tiered skirt by Juicy
Couture, which is a brand I'll admit right now that I always (whether
subconsciously or not) seem to avoid. Much like the Ed Hardy collection
by Christian Audugier which I think is far overpublicized and thus far
overdone. Nevertheless, the skirt stood out to me before I saw the
brand, so that was good enough for me.
In other news, please excuse my overuse of parentheses in this post.
Apparently I'm just very fond of asides. Goodnight lovelies!
